Nyc is a great place for walking.
We new yorkers walk for transportation and we are really going somewhere.
Our sidewalks are our highways.
I teach my kids to do that.
And lastly get out of times square!
Go to almost any other part of town and see the real nyc!
Another great freebie is to take the staten island ferry.
Both activities have great views and are absolutely free!
